The particular features of the site and the transition towards the open, protected landscape have been taken as a starting point. Aim is to achieve a living quality, based on the interrelation between housing and nature. The inhabitants are invited to take part in this process and to participate in the configuration of collective-private space. The living environment is basically car-free, the access routes are designated as shared space areas, stimulating social interaction.
The matrix of housing typologies is based on a modular structure and provides a high degree of programmatic flexibility and - simultaneously - sustainability. The differentiation of apartments / single-family houses is interchangeable within this building system.
